A Teviot Torpedo

The Teviot is better known for its big grayling than trout, though there are certainly some bog trout as well. This one isn’t the biggest I’ve caught, but it is perhaps in better condition that any trout I’ve ever caught. Not fat, but solid. When I picked it up you could feel just how solid it was. Not one of those flabby overfed fish. this felt more like a rock than a fish. Not surprisingly it fought as hard as a fish twice it’s size.
