Apple blossom

Apple blossom doesn’t seem to have quite the iconic appeal of cherry blossom. Perhaps as it appears later in teh year and is lost in the profusion of other flowers. There’s nothing like being first to get attention after all. Or perhaps because the flowers of commercial apples can be scrawny. But the profusion of flowers on a native crab apple can be stupendous. And what could be more English than Apple blossom?
